Later graduated with B.tech from IIT Madras (Civil engineering), and she pursued P.G ( MBA) in  IIM Bangalore (2004-2006). Further,  Amrapali has also earned a Master in Business Administration (M.B.L.) Degree from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Then, she joined ABN Amro to prepare for the Civil Service examination. With all her hard work and efforts, she successfully became the first youngest IAS officer in 2010, ranking 39th all over India. She scored 1241/2300 in her exam.
