Union Public Service Commission consequently, conducts the IAS exam every year to recruit candidates for the post of IAS, IPS, IRS, etc. However, UPSC Civil service exam is very difficult to clear. Also, the passing percentage every year is just 0.2%. Subsequently, Union Public Service Commission conducted the IAS exam for 2020 on May 4th, 2020. However, due to the Covid-19, it was postponed to 2021. Moreover, 10.58 lakh candidates registered for the UPSC prelims examination. But only, 10,564 candidates were cleared for Mains. UPSC Exam

So, the Union Public Civil Service Commission conducts the civil service exam. Moreover, the IAS exam is considered the toughest exam in the country. Also, Millions of candidates appear for this exam every year. But, only a handful succeed. Consequently, this exam tests the decision-making, leadership, and presence of mind of the candidates. So, UPSC recruits only the best of best. As a result, it is so difficult to crack this exam in one attempt. Many candidates appear for years however, some do clear in their first time.

Subsequently, this exam is conducted in three different stages. Firstly, the Preliminary stage. So, in this stage, the questions are objective type. Also, this is the qualifying stage for Civil Services. Secondly, the Mains stage. Moreover, this is a subjective type of paper. Lastly, the final personality test. So, it is an Interview to test the personality and smartness of candidates. Moreover, only the candidates who have qualified for the mains are allowed in the second stage. Final selection is done considering marks of both mains exam and interview tests.

So, UPSC conducts its preliminary civil service exam in June. Subsequently, the Mains is conducted in October. So, the results are declared in April. But, due to the surge of the Covid-19 pandemic the UPSC 2019 exam was postponed to 2020. The Union Public Service Commission consequently, released the marks of IAS topper 2020 on October 16, 2020. Above all, around 829 candidates cleared UPSC in 2020. IAS exam topper scored 52.9% The marks of the IAS topper of 2020 will surely motivate other aspirants to achieve their dreams.

UPSC Exam Topper 2020 has secured good marks in both IAS Mains as well as IAS interview tests. So, the total marks are out of 2025 with a bifurcation into 1750 in written and 275 in the interview. UPSC Topper 2020

1st Pradeep Singh

So, the Topper of UPSC exam 2020 is Pradeep Singh. Above all, he scored 52,9% in total. However, his tallied total is 1072 marks in all. Also, he scored 914 marks in written which is the highest of all. In addition to this, he scores 158 marks out of 275 on the interview test. Pradeep Singh Malik who comes from a consequently simple background in Haryana has topped the UPSC 2020 with the most marks.

Moreover, now looking into the background of Mr. Singh we have found that he certainly, has had a decent education. Also, he completed his schooling and developed an interest in the field of engineering. He then completes his bachelor’s degree in Technology. Graduating in 2012 he further applied for the SSC CGL exam. Here, he was appointed as an income tax officer in 2016. being in service for a few years Pradeep developed a passion for UPSC and started preparing. the first time he attempted UPSC in 2018 yet didn’t receive the desired rank. further on he went on to make UPSC his goal of life. 2nd Jatin Kishore

Another star of the topic MR Jatin Kishore. A 26-year-old Delhi resident subsequently, scored the second-highest marks in UPSC 2020 and backed the position of the second number. Also, he scores 1063 marks in total. the addition comprises 878 marks from mains and 185 marks from the personality test. So, Jatin has proved himself by scoring such good marks in the toughest exam in the country. Jatin completed his education in Delhi and pursued his graduation in economics. he also has a post-graduate degree in the same subject which is economics. Above all, Mr. Kishore subsequently, cleared UPSC on his second attempt. However, Jatin couldn’t even clear the prelims in his first attempt. Jatin has consequently proved that anything can be achieved with dedication and hard work. Consequently, in 2018 Jatin secured rank 1 in Indian Economic Service and was appointed as Assistant Director with the rural development ministry.

3rd Pratibha Verma

So, Rank 3 securer Pratibha Verma is the UPSC Exam Topper 2020 amongst women candidates. Pratibha has certainly, scored 1062 marks 1 less than the 2nd ranker. she secured 869 in the mains exam and 193 marks in the personality test. Overall Pratibha scored 52.44%. Pratibha Verma is subsequently, from Sultanpur and she finished her schooling in the same city. Moreover, after her school, she secured a seat in the IIT and completed her B.tech. Also, she was working with a private company for two years after being graduated from the most prestigious engineering institute the IIT. However, as she wasn’t satisfied, the dream of pursuing IAS stayed in the back of her mind. So, this dream led her to work hard and achieve want she always wanted.

UPSC Exam Topper 2020 has secured good marks in both IAS Mains as well as IAS interview tests. So, the total marks are out of 2025.
