V Iraianbu IAS was born in a small village in Tamil Nadu. Further, his family was educated and well settled. His father is Venkatachalam, and his mother is Baby Saroja; his father is a businessman, and his mother is a housewife. The name of his brother is Tirupukal. His family supported him throughout his studies. Then, his elder brother Tirupukal also working as a civil servant in Gujarat Administration. Iraianbu IAS wife, family is MK Stalin. V Iraianbu cracked the IAS exam with 15th rank in 1987, and it was the first rank in entire Tamil Nadu. He started working at the age of 30 as a civil servant. He began his IAS journey in the Indian Revenue Service and trained as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax. Further, he worked as an Assistant collector in Nagapattinam, and he was appreciated for his work. Therefore, he was promoted to municipal Administrator’s Associate Commissioner. Then, he arranged workshops to help groups being in that post. After completing the training at All Bahadur Shastri National Academy, he became Deputy Collector in 1990. Then from 1997 – 1999, he served as the District Collector of Kanchipuram district.
He also got promoted to state as additional chief secretary and Training chief Anna since March 2019. He was posted as Special Officer in Eighth International Tamil Conference, which was held at Tamil University. Later, he also worked as Chief director of training at Anna Management Center; he received 36.23 crores from the government to rebuild the Civil job training center and he was the joint commissioner in Municipal Administration, where he formed the connections between NGOs for social development. He has received many awards for his work, and also he did an excellent job during the Gujarat earthquake. On 7 May 2021, he was appointed as new Chief Secretary to Tamil Nadu Government.
