1. What has been the most memorable part of your journey so far?
He answered this question, walking on a frozen lake present in Ladhak during the Bharat Darshan. Further, staying in J&K for most of his life. But, listening to Led Zeppelin’s straightway to heaven is something he always wanted to do.
2. What did your schedule for preparing for the exam entail?
He shared his schedule by explaining, he prepared for one year. In that 3 months, he only studied from NCERT books, the next 3 months studied from extra books, 3 months for optional subjects, and the last 3 months for revision. Daily he used to study for 8 hours and 8 hours of sleep. Other 8 hours for essential works.
3. What were the driving factors behind attempting the Civil Services Examination?
He mentions, this particular exam needs vast knowledge. Further, he never had any favorite subjects, but this actually helped him study for the exam. He wasn’t having fancy CVs like his friends, so this exam only checks how much you know and not who you are. So it was a pure knowledge-gaining for him.

Therefore, these all factors made him not prefer IAS Cadre. So, he decided to give the exam in the first place, the Indian Foreign Service.”
6. As the author of two books, what motivated/motivates you to write?
When it comes to writing, he has a different approach, and nothing really motivates him. Further, he only writes to ease the burden on his head. It is a kind of satisfaction transferring all your thoughts onto paper. Then, he can create a space in his mind to read more.
