Athar Aamir Khan IAS is from a modest village in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. Athar Aamir Khan’s age is just 29. Moreover, Athar Aamir appeared in several Engineering entrance examinations. Also, he cracked almost all of them. He wanted to pursue BE so Athar Aamir did his engineering in IIT-Mandi. And then graduated with an Electrical engineering degree. Before IIT, he had joined a medical college for a while.
During this time, he came to know about Shah Faisal, the UPSC Civil Services Examination topper, and decided to attempt for the IAS. Athar secured 560 rankings in the 2014 exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. He was not entirely satisfied with the ranking and the post he was offered. So, he gave a shot at it again in 2015. Consequently, he cracked one of the toughest civil services exam tests twice in a row. He scored 1018 according to Athar Aamir’s Marksheet.

Athar Aamir met Tina first time in 2015 at the IAS felicitation ceremony at the DOPT office in Delhi. Above all, he believed that there are many scopes for him to do something for my people in the state.
